I started tracing my family history in October 2006. Initially concentrating on the Thomas family line I have made good progress having traced all of my paternal Grandfather's ancestors back to the introduction of civil registration in the UK in 1837. During this research I have already discovered several new living relatives including cousins of my father that he did not know existed and a fourth cousin in Brisbane, Australia!
Next I am going to concentrate on my paternal Grandmother's family before then attempting to go back beyond 1837. This site will occasionally be updated with any new findings.
My Mother's family tree had already been researched by my uncle, Jerrard Flood, and it is his findings that are included (with his permission) on this site for all relatives of the Floods and Rochfords together with the families of the Tarrs and Lincolns.
Thanks to my father-in-law Fred and his Kiwi-Third-Cousin-Once-Removed, Garth for igniting my interest in genealogy. Thanks to Jerrard Flood for his permission to publish his findings on my Mother's family tree, and thanks to Ann Lowes and Arthur Thomas for the certificates, photos and other information they provided to help me get a good start in my own research.
Please sign this site's Guest Book to let me know you've been here and what you thought about it. Also, please contact me if you have any photos of people listed on this site that I could publish.
